The Cobalt Series of Violet CTP Systems Tour the June 2002 Trade Show Circuit
Montreal, Canada -- May 24th 2002 --The Gutenberg Festival, Print & Pack Shanghai, and Mexigrafika are among the Graphic Art and Printing industry's upcoming trade shows in the month of June where the revolutionary Cobalt series of violet CTP systems will be exhibited. In addition, Xpedx, Escher-Grad full line distributor in the Untied States, will be holding an Open House Event at the end of June, (25th to 27th) in Twinsburg, Ohio where guests will be invited to view Cobalt CTP in action.
Following the success of IPEX 2002 in Birmingham in April, demand for Cobalt has increased dramatically. "IPEX was as complete a vindication of our strategy as we could have wished for," said Keith Fisher, Business Development Manager for Escher-Grad. "We know that 85 percent of printers don't have CTP for one simple reason: Price! The Cobalt series match and exceed our competitors quality, speed and reliability specifications at a third of their purchase and support prices - it's what technology is supposed to do!"
The Gutenberg Festival, taking place at the Long Beach Convention Center in California May 30th to June 1st, will mark it's 10th anniversary as the leading regional west coast exhibition. Visitors will be able to view Cobalt-8 CTP on display at the Spectrecom, booth (#1011).
MEXIGRAFIKA 2002, the most important Graphic Arts exhibition in the North part of Mexico, will take place May 30th to June 1st at The International Business Center (CINTERMEX) in the city of Monterrey. Two of Escher-Grad's Mexican dealers, ITS and Servicio Industrial Gráfico S.A. will be among the exhibitors on booths #1003 and #918 respectively where visitors can view Cobalt CTP technology.
Finally, Print & Pack Shanghai 2002, taking place June 12th to 15th at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, is the largest international event in China, displaying the latest in industry-wide development in China's immense market. Cobalt Violet CTP will be present on the Ocean Graphics booth.
The Cobalt series of violet CTP systems are the culmination of 16 years of research, design and manufacturing excellence. Available in both 4-up and 8-up models, the Cobalt CTP Series platesetters will image both silver-based and photopolymer plates at the highest quality and speed possible, at a price less than most imagesetters. With no special power requirements, no darkrooms to build, no costly air-conditioning systems to install and no power-hungry ovens to run, Cobalt-CTP Systems will connect to any existing prepress workflow, preserving investment in software and manpower.
